Terms & Conditions

You must be at least 18 years of age and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By using the Platform you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

The Platform is a trade-analytics and journaling tool that imports tradebooks, computes round-trips and metrics, and generates insights. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Platform for your personal, internal purposes.

We may add, modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We may also impose usage limits in line with your subscription plan.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to safeguard your account.

Paid plans are billed in Indian Rupees through our payment partner. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled. Applicable GST is charged and reflected on your invoice.

You authorise us and our payment partner to charge your selected payment method for the subscription fees and applicable taxes. Prices may change prospectively on notice; changes do not affect the current paid cycle.

You may cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future renewals. Refunds, where applicable, are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, reverse-engineering, scraping, introducing malicious code, infringing intellectual property, uploading unlawful content, or using the Platform in violation of any applicable law or exchange or regulatory requirement.

TradeFolie is an analytics and journaling tool for educational and informational purposes only. We are not a SEBI-registered investment adviser, research analyst or portfolio manager, and nothing on the Platform constitutes investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation, solicitation or offer to buy or sell any security or derivative.

All trading and investment decisions are yours alone and carry risk, including the risk of loss of capital. You should consult a SEBI-registered professional before acting. Past performance and any metric, projection or AI-generated summary on the Platform are not indicative of future results.

The Platform, including its software, design, text, graphics and trademarks, is owned by or licensed to the Company and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you. You retain ownership of the trade data and content you submit, and grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Platform.

The Platform integrates third-party services (such as payment processing and AI providers). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or that computed figures will exactly match your broker statements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, trading losses, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you to us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its directors, employees and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities and expenses arising out of your use of the Platform, your content, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these Terms or applicable law, or to protect the Platform and other users. On termination, your licence ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any applicable arbitration agreement, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
